Unfortunately, I was unable to do either Last Sunday Morning. I was rather poorly, and sadly a bout of poor health that lasted the whole week. A week of planned Annual Leave from the day job, and maybe a small holiday away, but no. A week of bed-ridden disappointment and discomfort.

Luckily, this gave me the chance to write an Anthem for Ascension Day. Although not quite finished, I hope to get this one out in time!

Thursday, I am feeling much better, and keep my voice in preparation for Choir Practice at St. Peter's. Sadly, I lasted 5 minutes! Between us three Tenors, We all were their in our hearts more than we were physically. At least we were there, and umm... on time! (*)

We were preparing for the next few Sundays, with works by CV Stanford, Charles Wood, and for this Sunday, Thomas Tallis.

Soon, it will be time for my Hood to come out as we sing the Office of 1662 BCP Choral Evensong on Sunday 21st May at 6pm
